About us
We stock a range of genres and have a carefully curated children’s section.
In addition, we have comfy reading corners and a children’s reading table with arts and crafts.
We also stock a range of gifts including: cards, pin badges and blind date books for special occasions.
What makes us stand out from the crowd?
We offer personalised recommendations and will always do our best to match a person with
a book.
We support local authors and local businesses. Also, we offer services such as preorders and will always take special requests.
Furthermore, we hold a range of events throughout the year as we aim to build a sense of community amongst book lovers and families.
So what are the main reasons to buy from us?
Well, to sum it up, we’re not a large multinational business, so your order directly supports our family of Kez, Tom, five girls, two bossy cats and a crazy cocker spaniel. I know, we have our hands full! We really do appreciate every sale.

- Book Club is held on the first Friday of each month in the gorgeous Sunflower Bakery during their hot pudding night. I mean, it’s a win-win for us, cake and books!
- We have a WhatsApp community that we can all be part of (no numbers are public other than the group admins).
- DOUBLE stamps on your loyalty card for the book club read.
- Book club members will receive exclusive offers and sneak peeks throughout the year.
- No tie-ins or crazy subscription costs. Each club will cost £1 plus the price of the book we choose. You have the freedom to attend as and when – though of course we’d love to see you every time!
